Rain yes. In windy conditions, you must have a very heavy base, otherwise the umbrella will tip over.
The umbrella offers a large attack surface in windy conditions. Even with our 25kg concrete base from the Landi, it was regularly "knocked over". It also twists again and again in the wind.
