Question about somfy 1822660 HF receiver
Is the idea of this receiver that it can be flush-mounted with the current mechanical switches of my electric blinds so that I can then control the blinds by radio? Will this theoretically work with all electric blinds if there is enough space for it to be flush-mounted?

Yes, exactly! It actually works with all electric roller blinds, venetian blinds, etc.
In addition, i.e. for control with one of the Somfy apps, you also need the Tahoma or Connexoon Box, for example. The radio protocol is called "io".
Hi, I have not yet installed the product I purchased. But I have exactly the same plan as you.
To answer your question, the product can of course only be installed
if there is sufficient space in the flush-mounted area. I can't judge that from here.
Whether drywall or solid construction, if the wall is not too thin,
in my opinion, there is definitely the possibility of creating sufficient space.
So, what doesn't fit will be made to fit!
