Question about 3M Full face mask 6800

Attention: Not all filters are the same.
P filters only protect against solids, A filters only against gases and vapours.

The 3M particle P1 filters mentioned by Michael Mistica for this mask are perfect for sanding or sawing wood, metal, plastic or stone (coarse particles).
For finer work (working with glass wool) a P2 filter should be chosen: 3M particle filter P2 for mask 6000 (protection class II, 10x) / Art-Nr 5927331
To remove mould or asbestos, a P3 filter must be used.
Note:
The mask is supplied without carrier and filter cap.
A pair of 3M particle filter carriers z. 6000 (2x) / art-no. 5927441 as well as a pair of 3M filter covers for respirator (2x) / art-no. 5927297 at Fr. 4.45 each are additionally required.

For painting or paint spraying work, e.g. 3M filter A2 for paint spraying mask / Art-Nr 5927045 is suitable.
These can be mounted directly on the mask (without carrier and cover).
