I have a Bosch GKS 18V-LI circular saw (3 601 F6H 002). I bought the FSN 1600 guide rail and it is not compatible. Can anyone tell me if I need to buy another guide rail (model number) or if I need to buy, for example, another accessory that can connect the two items? Thank you for your replies
Found this one here:
It seems that if you "only" have a GKS and not a GKS G, there is no rail for it?

I can't say whether the information is correct, it was a first hit when googling:
Good Luck
I probably know the problem: The rail guide fits into the groove of the base plate of the circular saw. But the rubber of the rail touches the saw blade.
Solution: With the first cut, the rubber is "trimmed" to the correct length. And voilà, it fits ;-)
This version of the saw is not compatible with the guide rails, as some of the other writers have also noted. The "G" version of the circular saw fits perfectly, and the current rails are also much better than the previous generation.
Conclusion: sell this saw, buy the G version, sorry...
Hello, it should be compatible. However, it must first be cut in. The first cut goes through the rubber lip and wood. There are instructions for this on YouTube. You clamp the rail to a piece at least 1.6 metres long. Then apply the hand-held circular saw, plunge-cut and make a clean cut. The rubber lip then sits exactly on the saw blade.
Hi, I'm not a specialist either: but Bosch says the following about the FSN 1600:
" This guide rail is suitable for use with plunge-cut and circular saws for perfect cutting results. The device is compatible with all Bosch Professional GKS G circular saw models and GKT Professional plunge-cut saws as well as certain GST Professional jigsaws and GOF Professional routers with an adapter."
Hope that helps
