Can I use this product to turn "dumb" light bulbs into "smart" light bulbs and possibly even integrate them into Philips Hue?

Yes, that is exactly what the product is meant for. However, it is not working properly at the moment. Logging on to Hue works perfectly and after a few hours nothing works anymore. According to the manufacturer, they are still looking for a software error.
