Product details
This plant has been awarded the Suisse Garantie label.
The dwarf mountain pine, botanically known as Pinus mugo 'Winter Gold', is a compact, evergreen coniferous plant that is characterised by its seasonal colour change. While the needles are a fresh green in summer, they take on a golden yellow colour in winter.
With a maximum height of 0.8 metres and a dense, bushy growth habit, it is ideal for rock gardens, heather gardens, container planting or as a low border planting. The plant is hardy, prefers a sunny to semi-shady location and thrives best in well-drained, rather dry soil.
Note: Please note that the plant may look different from the pictures depending on the vegetation cycle.
Container plants
Our container plants grow in plastic pots and - apart from frost-related restrictions - can be planted all year round. Unlike balled plants, they do not experience transplant shock and continue to grow without interruption if planted correctly.Natural deviations possible
Plants are living organisms. They may therefore differ from the specifications in terms of colour, growth height, flowering time or leaf fall. The characteristics stated in the product descriptions are for guidance only and do not constitute binding assurances. The pictures show sample plants - the delivered specimen may differ in appearance and stage of development.Plant variety | Trees |
