The wintergreen oleaster, botanically known as Elaeagnus ebbingei, is an attractive, hardy garden plant that impresses with its late, fragrant flowers and evergreen foliage. It reaches a height of about 3 meters and prefers sunny locations where it can thrive particularly well.
In October, when many other plants have already faded, the oleaster opens its delicate white flowers that emit a pleasant fragrance. Due to its dense growth, the plant is ideal as a structural element in mixed beds, for hedges, or as a decorative solitary shrub.
Note: Please be aware that the plant may look different depending on the growth cycle compared to the images.
