The Japanese Spiraea is botanically known as Spiraea nipponica 'Snowmound'. This plant reaches a height of 1.5 meters and is a wonderful addition to ornamental gardens. Its green leaves are deciduous and change color in the autumn. The white flowers appear between May and June and are not only aesthetically pleasing but also bee-friendly, as they attract pollinators.

With its permeable soil requirements and need for regular moisture, it is relatively low-maintenance and well-suited for beginners. It prefers a location that can be both partially shaded and sunny, producing a rich display of flowers in both settings.
