Zulauf Stern-Magnolie / Magnolia stellata

The star magnolia, botanically known as Magnolia stellata, is an enchanting garden plant that creates a special atmosphere with its intensely fragrant flowers. This variety reaches a height of up to 2.5 metres and is hardy, which means that it also tolerates colder temperatures well.

The flowering period of the star magnolia is from March to April, when it unfurls its white and pink-coloured blossoms. The delicate, star-shaped petals, which give the plant its name, are particularly striking. It prefers a sunny location and is ideal as a solitary plant in the garden.
