The black elderberry, botanically known as Sambucus nigra 'Black Lace', is a particularly attractive variety of black elderberry that stands out with its dark red, heavily slit foliage.
This variety reaches a height of 2.5 metres and is ideal for semi-shady to sunny locations. It is a hardy plant that can be easily integrated into the garden and delights with its pink flowers during the flowering period in June and July.
