The stone thyme, botanically known as Calamintha nepeta, is a charming, fragrant garden perennial that provides continuous splashes of color with its delicate light purple flowers from July well into November.

The plant loves sunny locations such as rock gardens and dry walls, but it also works well as a companion plant in perennial beds.

Calamintha nepeta is not only low-maintenance and drought-tolerant, but it also attracts numerous bees and butterflies with its fine fragrance and long flowering period.
