Product details

This plant has been awarded the Suisse Garantie label.

Monk's pepper, botanically known as Vitex agnus-castus, is a hardy garden plant that can reach a height of up to 2 metres. This plant prefers a sunny location and is known as a bee pasture. The flowering period extends from August to October, making it a valuable late food source for bees and other insects.

The blue-purple flowers provide a beautiful colour effect in the garden.

Note: Please note that the plant may look different from the pictures depending on the vegetation cycle.

Container plants

Our container plants grow in plastic pots and - apart from frost-related restrictions - can be planted all year round. Unlike balled plants, they do not experience transplant shock and continue to grow without interruption if planted correctly.

Natural deviations possible

Plants are living organisms. They may therefore differ from the specifications in terms of colour, growth height, flowering time or leaf fall. The characteristics stated in the product descriptions are for guidance only and do not constitute binding assurances. The pictures show sample plants - the delivered specimen may differ in appearance and stage of development.
