Product details

This plant is certified with the Suisse Garantie label.

The Japanese sedge, botanically known as Carex oshimensis 'Evergold', is a hardy garden plant that thrives in both sunny and shady areas. With a height of around 40 cm, it is excellent for flower beds, woodland edge plantings, or as ground cover.

Its striking green-yellow leaves make it a decorative highlight in the garden. During the flowering period, which lasts from April to May, brown flowers appear, further enhancing the plant's beauty.

Note: Please be aware that the plant may look different depending on its growth cycle compared to the images.

Perennials

Depending on the time of year, perennials are sent out pruned. Such pruning can make the plant look less attractive on arrival - but it is completely normal and important for healthy sprouting later on.

Natural deviations possible

Plants are living organisms. They may therefore differ from the specifications in terms of colour, growth height, flowering time or leaf fall. The characteristics stated in the product descriptions are for guidance only and do not constitute binding assurances. The pictures show sample plants - the delivered specimen may differ in appearance and stage of development.
