Product details

This plant has been awarded the Suisse Garantie label.

The hybrid vine Venus is botanically known as Vitis 'Venus'.

This deciduous, frost-hardy plant is an excellent choice for orchards that is fun for beginners and easy to care for. It bears yellow-green flowers from June to August, which discreetly decorate the orchard and indicate that the fruit will ripen later. The fruit, which develops over the course of the season, is sweet and medium-early ripe - ideal for a summer harvest.

To grow healthily and develop fruits full of flavour, the plant needs humus-rich, moist soil that retains nutrients well. A sunny location is important so that the fruits can develop their full flavour. As it is not particularly demanding, it is also suitable for beginners and can be easily integrated into existing orchards.

Non-toxic and therefore safe for children and pets, this plant is an uncomplicated and attractive choice. Its winter hardiness makes it ideal for colder regions, as it survives the winter without any problems and produces abundant shoots the following year. Whether as a solitary plant or in combination with other fruit trees, this plant enriches any garden with sweet fruit and little effort.
