The cultivated blueberry 'Darrow', botanically known as Vaccinium corymbosum 'Darrow', is a hardy plant that is perfect for semi-shaded locations. With a height of up to 1.5 meters, it remains compact and is ideal for beds, pots, or as part of fruit gardens.
The white flowers appear in May. From these flowers, the light blue, medium-sized berries develop later, which have an aromatic sweet taste. The berries are ripe for harvest from mid-August.
Harvesting is particularly effective when two different blueberry varieties are planted together, as this increases the yield. The plant produces numerous berries that are rich in vitamins and antioxidants – perfect for fresh consumption or as an ingredient in various recipes.

Container plants
