The maidenhair grass, botanically known as Stipa tenuissima 'Pony Tails', is a hardy, delicate garden plant that adds a subtle accent to the garden with its fine, soft stems.

It reaches a height of about 50 cm and is particularly suitable for flower beds and ornamental gardens, where it creates a light, airy structure. The flowering period of the maidenhair grass extends from June to August. Its yellow-cream flowers gently shimmer in the sun.
