Zulauf Haselnussstrauch / Corylus avellana
100 cmProduct details
This plant has been awarded the Suisse Garantie label.
The hazelnut bush, botanically known as Corylus avellana, is a native garden plant that plays an important role in the garden with its yellow flowers in February and March and the later nuts.
Growing to a height of up to 5 metres, this shrub is ideal for wild hedges or as a single plant in larger gardens that prefer a more natural design. The plant can also be kept at the desired size through regular pruning.
The yellow flowers of the hazel bush appear early in the year, before the leaves sprout, and are a cheerful sign of the start of spring. The plant is known for its hardy qualities and can establish itself in a wide range of garden conditions. In autumn, the shrub bears its edible nuts.
Note: Please note that the plant may look different from the pictures depending on the vegetation cycle.
Container plants
Our container plants grow in plastic pots and - apart from frost-related restrictions - can be planted all year round. Unlike balled plants, they do not experience transplant shock and continue to grow without interruption if planted correctly.Natural deviations possible
