The Chinese reed 'Flamingo', botanically known as Miscanthus sinensis 'Flamingo', is a hardy garden plant that reaches a height of 1.7 metres. This variety is characterised by its flowering period, which lasts from September to October. The flower colour changes from a delicate pink to an elegant shade of silver.

Another characteristic of this Chinese reed is its red-brown autumn colour. The garden plant prefers a sunny location where it can develop optimally.
