Zollinger Bio Chives, Charlemagne

The chives Karl the Great is an easy-to-grow and maintain herb. In the kitchen, the stems are often used as a garnish or to add a mild onion flavor to salads, omelets, or soups. The purple flowers are also edible and can be used to decorate dishes or even to make flavored vinegar. Once established, chives require little care and can even be grown in pots on the balcony or terrace. They can be harvested from May to November and can grow up to 30 cm tall.
