This 17-piece repair set for cup hinges contains all the tools and spare parts you need to repair two torn-out hinges on the door side of your furniture. An illustrated guide takes you through the project step by step to ensure that the repair is carried out quickly and safely.
Position the cup of the hinge in the mounting plate and insert it into the torn-out hole on the door. Use the self-centring hinge drill to prepare the screw connection in the 5 screw holes provided in the mounting plate. The tool enables guided vertical and depth-limited drilling. This allows you to screw the plate into the correct position. After fixing the mounting plate, prepare the screw connection of the hinge. Place the self-centring hinge drill bit in the holes for the hinge screws and pre-drill the door material. Finally, insert the last two screws and the hinge is functional again.
