Longer enjoyment of play sand

A sandbox invites play and fosters the creativity of little ones. To ensure that children can enjoy it for a long time, the sand should always be protected with a cover. This Windhager cover with elastic cord has been specially designed for sandboxes. It prevents the sand from being contaminated by weather influences, insects, or cats. Additionally, it is waterproof, keeping the sand dry even in the rain. The cover is made from an extra-strong fabric, allowing it to withstand frequent opening and closing. For longer durability, the sandbox cover is UV-stabilized. The included elastic cord ensures easy handling. It is threaded through the eyelets of the cover and tied – then the cover can be pulled over the sandbox like a hood. To ensure the cover stays securely in place, the elastic cord is shorter than the circumference of the cover.

What does UV-stabilized mean?

Direct, strong sunlight can cause structural damage to covers. Thanks to UV stabilization, this sandbox cover is more durable and can be used effectively for a longer time.

Available in different sizes

To provide optimal protection for the sandbox, the cover is available in various sizes. The length of the elastic rubber cord varies depending on the size of the cover. To securely attach the cover to the sandbox, the rubber cord is shorter than the circumference of the cover. This allows for particularly easy handling, as the cover can be pulled over the sandbox like a hood.

The sandbox cover is available in the following sizes (weight: 180 g/m²):

1.4 m x 1.4 m (suitable for sandboxes up to approx. 1.2 m x 1.2 m)

1.7 m x 1.7 m (suitable for sandboxes up to approx. 1.5 m x 1.5 m)

2.0 m x 2.0 m (suitable for sandboxes up to approx. 1.8 m x 1.8 m).
