The filter mat is made of phenol-free special foam, which has been structured in such a way that optimum filter performance is achieved.

Flushed by water, it mechanically retains coarse and fine particles.

After a running-in period, bacteria also settle in the fabric, which ensure the biological degradation of pollutants and thus contribute to the water quality. It is therefore not only suitable for equipping external filters for aquariums or pond filters, but also for the construction of a hamburger mat filter or a filter basin.

The foam mat is washable and can therefore be used several times.
