Without bees, a third of our food would disappear, as most plants only thrive when their flowers are pollinated. Our native wild or masonry bees are unbeatable pollinator professionals that are completely harmless, as they do not sting and have no interest in sweets or food. A single female bee can pollinate about 40,000 flowers, making them up to 300 times more efficient than a honeybee. Therefore, wild bees are ideally suited to make a significant contribution to improving the precarious situation in agriculture.

With a BeeHome, you can actively contribute to the spread of native wild bees at home while observing these diligent creatures up close and allowing a sea of colors to bloom in your garden. As a wild bee goddess or god, a starting population of 25 masonry bee cocoons will be sent to the BeeHome in spring. The BeeHome can be safely hung on a city balcony, in a single-family home neighborhood, or in a community garden.

Every spring, the wild bees emerge, pollinate the surrounding plants, and reproduce. They build their nests in the BeeHome and collect pollen and nectar for their offspring. Once the nests are complete, the bees seal them with clay. In autumn, the bees begin their winter rest and can be easily transported. You can return the inner box with the cocoons to Wildbiene+ partners. These will be cared for, properly overwintered, and used by farmers for pollinating fruits and berries the following spring. Wildbiene will return the renovated inner box, and in spring, you will receive a new starting population.
