To reach deeply seated screws, the blade diameter of conventional electrician screwdrivers is often too large. However, removing the insulation is not permissible and also endangers personal safety. With the specially developed Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY for electrical applications, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade, allowing for blades that are up to 33% slimmer. This way, slimBits can effortlessly reach deep-seated screw and spring elements. The insulated slimBits undergo individual testing according to the international standard IEC 60900, enabling safe work in the area of live parts up to 1,000 V AC. Additionally, the slimBits are stored in a smart bit box that provides optimal visibility of the screw profiles.

The 6 mm slimBits can only be used with speedE, slimVario, or TorqueVario-S electric tools.
