Product details
Locking foot, plate size 135 x 110 mm, construction height when activated 250 mm.
The locking foot is a device used for the immediate securing of a mobile device in a fixed position. It is solely intended for fixation; it does not provide a lifting function. The locking foot is typically mounted on the underside of a device next to a swivel caster or evenly between two swivel casters. The distance from the top edge of the base plate to the ground should be 245 mm. By activating the foot lever, a change in construction height occurs, resulting in contact between the rubber element and the ground. This fixes the device against the ground with a holding force of 125 daN. In the activated state, swiveling of the laterally positioned swivel caster(s) is not possible. The change in construction height is achieved through a knee lever system. The knee lever system switches the foot lever over a dead point, thus maintaining the construction height of 245 mm under a corresponding load of 125 daN independently. The activation force required to reach the dead point is approximately 30 daN. A brief activation of the lateral release lever, with a force of about 10 daN, returns the locking foot to its original position. Painted in Fehgrau (RAL 7000).
