Overvoltage protection with measurement, control, and regulation capabilities, without a signaling function or display. The protection covers analog signals and current loops (CL - Current Loop), including signals from current loops (analog measurements from encoders over long distances) such as 4...20 mA and 0...20 mA. It supports two-, three-, and four-wire configurations without a common reference potential, for example, in level measurement. It also accommodates signals from voltage transmitters (analog measurements of transmitters over short distances) such as 0...10 V and PT 100, for example, in temperature measurement. The device features a pluggable arrester with interruption-free and impedance-neutral plugging or unplugging, and it is testable with the V-TEST instrument. Its space-saving design allows for two analog signals, and it includes a ground-free PE connection to avoid potential differences. It is applicable according to installation standard IEC 62305 (D1, C1, C2, and C3). The integrated PE foot safely dissipates up to 20 kA (8/20 μs) and 2.5 kA (10/350 μs) to PE. The colored marking of voltage levels facilitates quick identification in the control cabinet, and it includes a safety function with a coding element for different voltage levels.
