Product details
With the WAREMA KNX SA 4MDC.8 sun protection actuator in a surface-mounted housing, four sun protection drives can be controlled with 24 V DC (polarity reversal switching). Eight integrated binary inputs allow for the connection of conventional (blind) switches or window contacts, which are freely available on the bus. Emergency and manual operation is done via Bluetooth for diagnosis and control through a free smartphone app (which can be disabled via ETS). Easily replaceable fuses ensure optimal protection for the connected components in case of a short circuit. Pre-set basic parameters allow for the selection of blinds/venetian blinds, roller shutters/textile sun protection, or window awnings with ZIP guidance. The three global safety objects and an additional safety object per output with different priorities and cyclical monitoring can be freely assigned, and the response to safety objects during or after an alarm can be chosen. The actuator allows for the integration of external automations. This involves separating the manual and automatic inputs based on fabric height and slat position. Additionally, there is the option to restrict manual operation through the automation objects. Received telegrams can be stored and processed after the automation is turned off, and a state after shutdown can also be defined. The actuator has 8 scene objects per output. Status of fabric height, status of hold time, status of upper end position reached, and slat angle can be sent or read for each output. The creep speed during motor start-up is parameterizable. It is also possible to set correction times and delay times during start-up.
