After connecting, the electrician can immediately see if all conductors are fully inserted and correctly connected. The correct stripping length of the conductors can now also be easily checked at a glance. Closed conductor funnels ensure clear guidance of the conductors to the clamping point. User-Friendliness in Focus Through two test openings, the installer can comfortably and safely check the clamp even when installed, using all common test probes. The lateral grip recesses in the housing enhance user-friendliness when opening the levers. The new clamp generation is based on the proven tool-free CAGE CLAMP® technology, where the clamping points are opened and closed using an operating lever. The difference from the previous model: Operating the lever is now even easier. This makes connecting the conductors even simpler and faster. Wide Application Variety As a universal clamp, the new Series 221 is capable of accommodating all common types of conductors: With just one clamp, conductor cross-sections from 0.14 to 4 mm² (fine-stranded) or 0.2 to 4 mm² (single and multi-stranded) can be covered.
