Where multi-polarity is required, adapters provide users with individual degrees of freedom for the modular, flexible construction of up to 5 fixed-position poles in one adapter - whether with or without strain relief, on mounting rails with snap feet, for screwing, gluing, binding, or hanging.

As a universal connection medium, the through connector of the 221 series not only enhances known installation applications with limited space but also opens up a variety of new applications: for example, laboratory and test setups, production testing fields, lighting connections in false ceilings, extension of speaker cables, and junction boxes in industrial applications.

The through connector is available in two versions, both of which have EN and UL approvals: in the version with a transparent cover for conductor cross-sections from 0.2 to 4 mm² for all common applications, as well as in the version predominantly used in North America with a white cover for the extended connection range with AWG-12 conductor.
