WAGO 294 Series power supply terminal block. The 294 Series power supply terminal blocks are designed for field connection of lighting systems and other devices. These lighting connectors can be used worldwide to connect lighting fixtures via WINSTA pluggable connectors or conventional wiring. The terminal blocks accept solid, stranded, and fine-stranded conductors with a large cross-section of 0.5 mm² to 2.5 mm² at the power end. This cross-section is equivalent to 18 AWG to 12 AWG (American conductor size) and 0.8 mm to 2.0 mm (cross-section of solid conductor in the Asian market). This feature makes the 294 Series power supply terminal block ideal for use in America and Japan. A cage terminal connection allows conductors to be connected without prior preparation of the stripping conductor. These field wiring terminal blocks meet the requirements of household appliance standard IEC/EN 60335-1, which requires enhanced fire protection for unattended household electrical appliances.
