Wago Connecting clamp (100 pcs.)
Product details
This means that electrical installers can now easily implement applications with confined installation conditions. Thanks to the extremely slim design of the new series, the wired terminals can be easily and quickly inserted into the installation boxes. Furthermore, the space savings offer additional options for later expansions. The new housing design of the 221 Series, made of transparent plastic, makes it easy to visually check the correct conductor position. After connection, the electrician can immediately see whether all conductors are inserted up to the stop and correctly connected. The correct stripping length of the conductors can now also be easily checked at a glance. Closed cable funnels ensure that the conductors are clearly guided to the clamping point. Two test openings allow the installer to conveniently and safely test the terminal even when installed, using all common test probes. The recessed grips on the sides of the housing increase user-friendliness when opening the levers. The new generation of clamps is based on the proven tool-free cage clamp technology, in which the clamping points are opened and closed with the aid of an operating lever. The difference to the previous model is that it is now even easier to operate the lever. This means that the conductors can be connected even more easily and quickly. As a universal terminal block, the new 221 Series is able to accommodate all common types of conductors: conductor cross-sections from 0.14 to 4 mm² (fine-stranded) or 0.2 to 4 mm² (solid and stranded) can be covered with just one terminal. Thanks to the highly reliable rated current of 32 A and a rated voltage of 450 V, the 221 Series is suitable for a wide range of applications. Typical applications in building technology are the connection of lights, blind motors, as well as the wiring of intercom systems, door, and gate controls. In industry, the connection terminal is ideal for wiring motors and pumps, among other things.
