Product details

The tire offers excellent performance in terms of driving stability and sporty handling. This is reflected in its outstanding handling on both wet and dry roads. The even contact pressure at low air pressure, combined with asymmetric grooves, ensures optimal grip and a short braking distance. Summer grooves in the central area of the tread, along with an optimized tread depth, further contribute to the tire's energy efficiency. The tire also exhibits absolutely uniform wear behavior. The Sportrac 5 is particularly well-suited for this category due to its low noise emissions, which are attributed to the intelligent tread pattern and longitudinal grooves.

Das Gesamtpaket stimmt, der Vredestein Sportrac 5 185/60 R14 82H macht einen guten Eindruck im Test. Dabei muss man sich hier jedoch mit einer sehr lauten Außengeräuschkulisse abfinden, zumal der Sommerreifen bei Nässe nur durchschnittliche Ergebnisse beim Bremsen erzielt. Ansonsten lässt er sich bei nasser Strecke jedoch gut fahren und auch Aquaplaning stellt kaum ein Problem dar...
