The VCC 1224-25 from Votronic (MPN 3341) is a fully automatic, galvanically isolated battery charger-converter designed for special vehicles, high-quality motorhomes, and boats. The charger-converter (booster) of the "VCC" series has been developed according to the latest guidelines for mobile charging of service batteries (living space/onboard batteries) from the alternator (starter battery) while driving. The device ensures a complete IU1oU2 charging characteristic even during travel. The maximum charging current of the VCC 1224-25 is 25A, and it can work with lead-acid, gel, AGM1, and AGM2 batteries. This device charges a 24V battery from a 12V battery or alternator.

Unlike conventional separation relays, the charging voltage is adjusted according to the charging program, making it particularly suitable for EURO Norm 6 and 6+ vehicles.

This universally applicable multi-talent ensures a monitoring-free, rapid, and gentle full charge for onboard batteries using classic lead-acid, lead-gel, or lead-AGM technology from any state of charge, followed by full maintenance and care of the battery. Even during short trips, the battery is charged with full current. Connected 12V consumers are automatically supplied, even when the onboard network is heavily loaded.
