For easy and quick measurement of direct and alternating currents up to 1000 A, the circuit does not need to be interrupted during measurement, unlike with multimeters. This device is perfectly suited for servicing machines in control cabinets and for measuring high currents in automotive and truck electrical systems.

Multimeter functions: The device features voltage, frequency, temperature, capacitance, and resistance measurement functions with automatic range selection, as well as diode testing, True RMS, and an acoustic continuity tester. Additionally, it is equipped with non-contact voltage testing (NCV).

The high-contrast display with 6000 counts and illuminated controls is exceptionally easy to read in all lighting conditions. Particularly in dimly lit control cabinets, this model outperforms traditional clamp meters. The display shows 4-digit values up to 5999, regardless of the position of the decimal point. Furthermore, buttons and the legend for the rotary switch position are illuminated.

The fluctuating measurement values are clearly displayed with the bar graph indicator. The hold button is perfectly reachable with the thumb and is used to save readings when the display cannot be viewed during measurement. This button is ergonomically placed for thumb access, eliminating the need to search for it.

If needed, a bright LED with optics can be activated to illuminate the area directly in front of the clamp. The VOLTCRAFT VC-533 maintains a slip-resistant contact with the surface, effectively preventing unwanted slipping on uneven surfaces due to its rubberized design.

With its two-component housing and integrated soft rubber protection, the measuring device is robust and handy, making it suitable for tough applications.
