In this model, the protective caps at the measurement tips can no longer be lost, as a sliding mechanism is integrated that takes over the protective cap function. The exposed measurement tip is well-suited for making contact with already wired terminal blocks. Additionally, extensions such as crocodile clips with a 2 mm socket can be directly attached. The measurement category with the exposed 2 mm tip corresponds to CAT II. For measurements in category CAT III 1000 V and CAT IV 600 V, first unscrew the 4 mm adapter sleeve, then the protection is simply pushed forward and locked in place using the sliding mechanism.
