The non-contact voltage tester is used to detect alternating current at outlets and cables. Safe measurement: The tester is specified according to the highest safety class CAT IV 1000 V. It operates without direct contact, so there is no need for direct contact with the test object. This often eliminates the need to open enclosures. Phase detection: When an electrical alternating field is detected, the test tip begins to blink red quickly, and an audible signal sounds. The built-in antenna in the tip responds only to the phase and not to the neutral conductor. Protection against water and moisture (IP65): The MS-500 is designed so that rain, snow, or even a water jet will not cause a malfunction. It can be used and stored in locations with high humidity, such as work sites, machine rooms, and not entirely dry garages, without any issues. Dust and dirt resistant: The housing and all controls are designed to be completely dustproof. Even after many years, the tester remains as functional as on the first day. Measurement point illumination: At the push of a button, a white LED lights up in front. This allows the measurement point to be illuminated. This function also helps to find the way to the fuse box in dark rooms.
