A solar charger is powered by solar panels and stores energy in batteries. The SmartSolar maintains battery functionality and extends its lifespan. It can even recharge a deeply discharged battery and can operate with a battery voltage of up to 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

MPPT: Ultra-fast Maximum Power Point Tracking

By continuously monitoring the voltage and current output of your solar panels, MPPT technology ensures that all available energy from the panels is extracted and stored. The advantage is particularly noticeable when the sky is partially cloudy and light intensity constantly varies.

Remote Monitoring and Control

You can remotely control and monitor the extensive features of your SmartSolar MPPT charger with integrated Bluetooth by pairing it with your smartphone or another device via VictronConnect. If your installation is connected to the Victron Remote Management Internet portal through a GX device, you will have full access to your MPPT anytime and from anywhere. Both VictronConnect and VRM are available for free. For remote installations, even when there is no internet connection nearby, you may be able to monitor your MPPT by connecting with the GlobalLink 520.
