Product details

The Upat anchor rod ASTA is a versatile accessory for chemical fastening. This threaded rod, made of galvanized steel with a quality grade of 5.8, is particularly suitable for indoor fastening in various building materials with all injection mortar and cartridge systems from Upat. The most economical use of the anchor rod is in combination with the UKA 3 Plus cartridge. When many fastening points are processed consecutively, the combination with injection mortar cartridges is generally recommended. During installation with the mortar cartridge, the anchor rod is set using a rotary hammer. In this process, the mortar cartridge is destroyed, mixed, and activates the mortar mass. When installing with injection mortars, the threaded rod is manually pushed into the drilled hole with slight rotational movements. The Upat ASTA anchor rod system is commonly used for fastening support feet and steel constructions.
