The EKM 2042 junction box from TYCO is a reliable solution for the safe distribution of electrical power. It meets the stringent requirements of DIN VDE 0660-505 and DIN 43628 and is certified with the VDE mark, highlighting its high quality and safety. The box allows for flexible adjustment of the entry clamp to various cable diameters, significantly simplifying installation as no cutouts are required. Thanks to the proven sliding clamp technology, a secure connection is ensured without loose parts falling into the light mast. The EKM 2042 is pre-wired and features robust, short-circuit-proof busbars that provide additional safety. Made from impact-resistant, flame-retardant plastic, it also offers touch protection in accordance with BGV A2 (VBG4). With various protection classes (IP 43 or IP 54), it is versatile and allows for easy installation of luminaire cables through the front-insertable double outlet bushings.
