Product details
Our development team designed this jacket for intense cruising in any weather. It is a waterproof and breathable sailing jacket with a high fleece collar and multiple pockets.
After each use, the jacket should be rinsed with clear water and stored dry. Wash it as little as possible to maintain the water-repellent coating. Wash the jacket inside out on a synthetic program (30 or 40 °C) with regular detergent and without fabric softener. Ensure a reduced load in the machine and run an additional rinse cycle. Allow the jacket to air dry. To renew the water-repellent properties, place the jacket in the tumble dryer for 10–15 minutes (synthetic program), also inside out.
The jacket features a high fleece collar, a hood with a visor, an adjustable deep hood, and a saltwater-resistant zipper made of injected plastic. The material has a water column of 20,000 mm, which corresponds to the average water pressure during a rain shower. The water-repellent materials cause water to bead on the surface of the fabric, and all seams are sealed. A protective flap under the zipper ensures optimal waterproofing.
The two-way zipper allows for more comfort when opening and closing the jacket. The quickly adjustable cuffs make it easier to take off the jacket. The attached hood cannot be rolled into the collar but does not flap in the wind.
