Maintenance & Location: The location is important for the banana plant to feel comfortable, especially during the dark season. If the location is correct, cultivation is no problem. Place the plant in a bright area, and during summer, it can be outdoors, protected from the wind. The humidity must be high, at least 50%.

Watering & Fertilizing: The banana plant must not be watered too much or too little; it takes a bit of tact to get this right. It is important to avoid standing moisture. Water generously, especially in summer, using lime-free water and ensuring there is no waterlogging. Avoid drought, as it can damage the roots. Fertilizing should be minimal but done year-round.
