The Thermo Proof Wood is a heavy-duty spacer system for houses in timber construction or timber frame construction. The Thermo Proof Wood is available in three lengths for the standard insulation thicknesses of 60mm, 80mm and 100-120mm. The hanging bolt with hexagon socket enables compact installation, which is required for cassette solar shading. The Iso Spacer with large contact surface prevents pressure on the façade. After installation, the gap between the Iso Spacer and the plaster should be sealed with a sealant suitable for outdoor use. Pre-drill insulation board with Ø 20mm (min. 45mm deep). Pre-drill post Ø 8mm. Screw the Iso Spacer, washer and nut onto the hanger bolt. Screw in the Thermo Proof Wood with pre-installed Iso Spacer, washer and nut. Remove the washer and nut again and seal the gap between the plaster and the Iso Spacer with a suitable silicone/sealant. Fit the fixing part.
