With the Tormek EzyLock, which functions both as a nut and a washer, the grinding stone can be easily mounted by hand. The large pitch on the left-hand thread of the disc nut causes the rotation of the stone to tighten the nut. The EzyLock nut is tightened by hand, after which grinding can begin. The EzyLock nut automatically tightens itself with the correct torque.
