Many plant growers face excessively high temperatures in their irrigation water and substrate due to room temperatures. Especially in NFT and hydro systems, cooling to 18 or 19 degrees Celsius is a well-kept secret that can work wonders! Sea-water resistant cooling units with titanium heat exchangers and digital temperature controllers. The Polar cooling units are powerful devices equipped with CFC-free refrigerants. They also feature a safety circuit that stops the unit in case of overheating, preventing the compressor from burning out. An integrated air filter extends maintenance intervals and can be replaced from the outside. This ensures that plant substrates and irrigation water can stay cool next summer.

The Polar water chiller series now includes 3 units. This allows you to safely maintain temperatures in the range of 18 - 23 °C for water bodies from 250 liters up to 1500 liters. A digital temperature controller ensures that the set temperature is precisely regulated. Like all other cooling units, the Polar chillers are equipped with ozone-friendly refrigerants R 134 A or R 407 C. All chillers have a sturdy metal/plastic housing in a timeless design, so they won't look out of place even in the living room next to the aquarium.
