These terminals consist of a precision-molded copper housing and barrel with high conductivity. Inside the crimp sleeve are serrations for optimum contact and tensile strength after crimping. The wire crimp sleeve is surrounded by a copper sleeve that provides additional wire insulation and prevents fraying. An outer color-coded nylon sleeve facilitates wire size identification, and a funnel-shaped cable entry prevents kinked strands, allowing fast cable insertion during high-speed production. The design of these PIDG terminals and the use of special tooling dies allow for consistent and reliable crimping. Available in a wide range of wire, barrel, and stud sizes, these PIDG ring terminal blocks provide a versatile solution for various cabling applications.
