In contrast to normal rattan, polyrattan is particularly suitable for outdoor use, as the material is very resistant and does not tend to fibre. Polyrattan fibres are waterproof, easy to care for and UV-resistant, so that they retain their colour depth unchanged even with frequent and long-term use. Polyrattan furniture is much lighter than conventional garden furniture because the frame is made of aluminium, so that large garden furniture can be moved around more easily. Due to the powder-coated aluminium, the furniture is stable and permanently rust-free. The multiple struts also ensure extreme stability.
