The PRO tank ring combines the innovative strength of two German companies: the tried-and-tested locking mechanism of SW-MOTECH tank rings is now even easier to use thanks to the magnetic guide provided by Fidlock technology. The positioning of the top ring has been significantly improved: the sliding top ring is pre-fitted to a guide rail on the tank bag, meaning there is no need to drill into the tank bag. This means that the top ring can be individually aligned on the guide rail on the underside of the tank bag. Once the correct position has been found, the top ring is securely screwed into place. When switching to a different motorbike, the position of the top ring can be adjusted accordingly. The magnetic guide developed by Fidlock complements SW-MOTECH’s already sophisticated mechanical locking mechanism: The magnets guide the top ring into the correct position on the tank ring, and the fastening clicks firmly into place. In this way, the force of the magnets aids the positioning of the tank bag. The tank bag can be fitted in a single movement, and you can set off straight away. Your luggage is securely held in place – and it’s fun too. The mechanical locking mechanism secures the tank bag, whilst the magnets bring the two parts of the ring together. The robust glass-fibre-reinforced plastic, with its high-precision locking geometry, ensures that the tank bag remains firmly in place in all road conditions.
