Sw Motech Foot brake lever extension

SW-MOTECH manufactures this foot brake lever extension from machined aluminum, designed to fit the original foot brake lever of the Yamaha Ténéré 700.

The extensions are made from machined, high-strength aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish and a stainless steel footplate. For optimal ergonomic adjustment, the height of the brake lever footrest can be set in two stages of 22 or 27 millimeters.

The foot brake lever extension is ideal for off-road riding: it complements the original brake lever footrest and ensures a secure, well-controlled press on the brake. The extension allows for both a widening and an increase in the contact area, providing greater safety and better control of the rear brake.

When riding off-road, one often switches between sitting and standing positions. In a standing position, the knee angle changes, and the foot can exert less pressure on the small pedal. By increasing the contact area, the foot is angled more and can easily reach and control the brake lever even while standing. The height can be adjusted in two different stages.

In addition to the height increase, the foot brake lever extension features a widened contact area. This area is equipped with a textured surface, providing better grip on dirty or wet lever surfaces.
