With this filter sponge, you will achieve the best biological filtration properties for your garden pond. It is a yellow sponge with a thickness of 25 mm for fine filtration. The homogeneous structure of the sponge allows for balanced flow and even filtration of the water.

For effective cleaning of polluted water, powerful filter bacteria are needed. The filter sponge provides these valuable bacteria with an optimal habitat due to its large surface area of 310 x 275 mm, allowing them to settle and thoroughly clean the flowing water.

Additionally, the filter sponge reduces the nitrate content in the water and removes chemical impurities from the garden pond.

The SunSun CUF filter sponge can also be used as a replacement part for the SunSun pond pumps CUF-2800 to 5800. Please check the dimensions of the filter sponge for use in other pond pumps or filter baskets.
