The CBF 200 bio pond filter combines mechanical with modern biological cleaning.

The filter system ensures a stable, biological balance in large ponds without any chemicals and significantly improves the water quality. The filter produces clear water for pond sizes up to 8,000 litres without fish stocking or up to 4,000 litres with fish stocking. The filter system should run 24 hours a day in order to optimally support a balanced climate, healthy plant growth and the well-being of the fish.

Effective filtering is achieved using materials such as a special yellow and a special blue sponge with different flow rates for the pond water and a Japanese mat.

With this pond biofilter system, the pond water is pushed very slowly using a pump and a suitable hose - both of which are NOT included in the scope of delivery. The filter sponges first clean the water mechanically of coarse suspended matter and dirt particles. As the water remains in the filter media, beneficial microorganisms gradually colonise, which then remove germs and bacteria from the water. The Japanese mat consists of rough polyester-based individual threads with a large surface area, which also favours the colonisation of bacteria.

The 1-chamber filter system is also equipped with a dirt and temperature indicator.

The maximum water flow rate is 6000 l/h.
